Prasuti tells Madanike to take care of Sati while going to Rangnath for the colours. Fearing an inauspicious condition, Madanike is scared to take Sati along with her. Daksh decides to do tapasya before the mahamandal meeting. Sati informs Madanike that she is not interested in Lord Shiva. A saint describes about Vritrasur to the people. Seeing the storm, Prasuti orders a battalion in search of Sati. Madanike and Sati get separated due to the storm.
